I purchased a package from SOL in 2003 and they charged my credit card several times. I never did anything with these websites and forgot all about it then I got a letter in 2010 from a collection agency asking for some ridiculous amount like $12,000. Recently, I got another letter from the same agency giving me an 80% discount if I pay $1800 in full. I don’t feel I should pay anything for this crap. I live in nj. Isn’t there some statute of limitation in NJ?

Here Here we got screwed to we my husband and i and your right the presentation seemed so good & so thorough that we never thought we were being taken until it was too late. This was last year we requested a cacellation of the contract we never even used the money we wrote a letter tried to call no reponse they answered when it was too late and they knew it. Now they have been having Bill Collectors call our home and bug us every day to pay for something we never used thats insane how do you dare have someone pay something that you did not touch they told me to PAY HALF are you freakin kidding me no no no i will not they want $600.00 a month where the heck do they think there getting that I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOO AM PISSED off They ruined my husbands credit GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR we did report to the NY Attorney General’s office, but I don’t know what else I can do, what actions I can take to protect myself. Any info would be much appreciated

I am also wondering if there is any recourse currently for people in Florida that have been caught up in this. The presentation seemed so good & so thorough that we never thought we were being taken until it was too late. we have requested a cancellation of contract & a refund based on their not holding up to their promises and have been stonewalled. We did report to the NY Attorney General’s office, but I don’t know what else I can do, we tried talking to them we sent them a letter no response tried talking to them do you know when they finally talked to us is when it was to late now just today Bill Cwhat actions I can take to protect myself. Any info would be much appreciated!

Well my wife purchased the pro package ($6000.00) in 2008 against me telling her not to and I have tried and tried and sepnt many hours on the phone to never get a site published…so after about 2 years of not even logging into the site decided to maybe give it another shot only to find out tonight that I now have to pay $29.95 just to get access to continue building or working on building my website….this whole SOL thing is definitley a joke which I knew it was from day one….Let me know if someone is starting a class action law suit because I am all in…Todd in Alabama

i’m in texas too. let me know what you did. i’m just now thinking of of changing my accts. i’m tired of paying 290 a month for nothing, hosting fee for nothing, merchant charges for nothing, i feel so used. thanks for listening to me.

I was pressured into leaving a $300.00 deposit for a package under the promise that I could cancel in three days if I did not like what I saw. Tried to cancel for two days, numerous times with no call backs. Finally got someone in customer support.They told me my contract would be cancelled, send an e-mail but a refund was probably not coming. This all happened in June 2011. Now I got a call from a collection company wanting the rest. I live in Canada, they are not getting another penny. I can’t believe what they are doing to people.

I signed out for the $6000 software that I pay $207 monthly, I never build any web site because its so complicate to use and now do they blocked my access to my account, I can’t even keep trying to build an WS if I don’t give them more money. Can I ask my bank to stop the payments? I’m in the same situation as everybody else, but is there anyone who ever get the money back? I asked to myquickresponse and do they say there’s nothing NOTHING I can do, I’ll have to pay in full for the 6K? Please help!!

sol is so full of it…..but i think it’s time that we all fight back against this company by using anything we use. We all know how bad this company is now its time to let the world know.lets start using site like facebook, youtube, myspace, keep calling your AG office try and get a local t.v station to help us out…..i will start a facebook page and i will let you all know…..ITS TIME WE ALL FIGHT BACK!!!!!
